Lexie's philanthropic spirit emerged early when she founded Young Hearts for Homeless at 9. She later pursued a Master of Science in Child Life Studies at the College of Charleston. She completed a 600-hour internship at The King's Daughters Children's Hospital in Norfolk, VA, where she gained valuable experience in improving the medical experiences of pediatric patients and their families.

    Now Vice President of Charles Barker Companies, Lexie builds on her family's legacy in the automotive industry. After furthering her expertise through the National Automotive Dealer Academy, she was appointed to Governor Youngkin's Motor Vehicle Dealer Board in 2024, where she can contribute to shaping Virginia's automotive dealer community. Lexie also serves on the board of An Achievable Dream School, championing high-quality education for children at or below the poverty line.
